What Men Tell me About The Dallas Dating Scene

Dallas attracts beautiful, family-oriented women from all over the United States.

That should make dating easy, but what I hear from single guys around Dallas and Forth Worth isn't all sunshine and rainbows:

"I've dated my way through my entire social circle..."

In spite of the sprawl, Dallas has small-town social mechanics. Your friends (and ex-girlfriends) may have gone to the same handful of SEC schools, and you see each other at the same events every weekend.

Getting outside your bubble (and away from women your buddies already follow on Instagram) can require an assist from someone like me, who's plugged in to a variety of different social circles across the Metroplex.

"I'm building a business. I don't have 10 hours a week to deal with online dating..."

If you're an entrepreneur or executive, you probably don't want to spend your limited leisure time swiping on apps like Hinge or Raya, hoping to win the lottery.

Matchmaking is precisely how busy guys with high standards escape this trap. You outsource the parts of the dating process that feel like work, and you enjoy the parts that feel genuinely fun (namely, going on dates with the types of women you've been waiting for).

How Matchmaking Works For Dallas Clients, In Five Steps

1. we get to know each other

I want to actually understand you before I start thinking about finding your person. What motivates you, and what makes you happy? What does a great relationship actually look like to you? Where have you experienced challenges dating, and why? The better I can get to know you, the better the introductions my team and I can make.

I'll tell you upfront if I don't think we can find who you're looking for in Dallas (or elsewhere). It does me no good to make a huge commitment to you as my client if I'm not confident I can deliver!

2. We decide to work together

We typically work with clients on 6-month engagements. During that timeframe, we'll propose at least 10 hand-picked introductions to women who we've carefully vetted based on your search criteria, and who have already expressed excitement about meeting you.

3. We Get You Ready for dates

Before your matchmaking search kicks off, we put in upfront work to make sure you're ready to attract the women you want to meet. This may include:

Styling with our wonderful in-house image consultant Anya
Professional photos with our amazing Dallas photographer, Sara
Scrubbing your online presence if needed (e.g. if your LinkedIn photo is gross and old, we'll change that!)
A mock date with my teammate Kahlah, so you're ready to create conversational chemistry on dates

Not all of our Dallas clients need all these resources, but the point is that they're available if you do.

4. We find Your Matches In Dallas

When we're confident you're date-ready, we'll kick off your search. We find women through:

Our personal networks of girlfriends around DFW
Out and about, e.g. on Katy Trail, at Barry's, etc
Online (one benefit of being Instagram famous is that attractive women respond to my DMs!)

Each introduction we make is carefully vetted and curated. We want to find your person, not just any person.

When we introduce you to a woman, she'll be familiar with your background, and she'll be excited to meet you!

Dallas Matchmaking FAQs

How is your approach different from other Dallas matchmakers?

Most matchmakers in Dallas (and elsewhere) run their business out of an ancient, paid member database. You meet women from their roster of women who also paid to be set up. That's not what my clients want.

We source every match specifically for you. Our approach requires more work, and it's not cheap, but our clients love the results.

My criteria for matches are pretty specific. Is that going to be a problem?

Specific can be good. Ultra-narrow can be complicated.

If you want to date attractive, warm, accomplished, feminine women in Dallas in their late 20s and early 30s (or late 30s, etc) we'll deliver great results, fast.

If you want to date mid-20s Jewish brunettes between 5'7 and 5'9 who went to Ivy League schools, we can probably still deliver great results, but it'll take more time, and we probably need to expand our search area beyond just Dallas.

I'm based in Dallas, but I travel constantly for work. Can you help?

Absolutely. Many of our clients who travel regularly for work date in >1 city (e.g. Dallas and Los Angeles).

Some of our Dallas clients who don't travel for work choose to date in Dallas, Austin, and Houston just to expand their pool of potential matches.

As long as you're comfortable traveling (or hopping on FaceTime) for dates, we can accommodate multiple search geographies, and even coordinate dates around your pre-existing schedule as long as we have enough notice.

I moved to Dallas recently. Does that matter?

Not at all. Many of our Dallas clients are recent transplants, and we work with guys from every background you can imagine. If anything, this makes our job easier, because you'll have fewer exes we'll need to avoid!

I'm super busy with my company. Is matchmaking still right for me?

The right answer depends on your situation.

Working 50-60 hours a week, and still have the time, energy, and motivation to meet a woman who could be your wife for dinner next Thursday?
